Club Attributen

De ketting (17e): Niels van Beurden

In the 2010-2011 season, Secretary Niels van Beurden always had wild and spontaneous ideas. During one of the meetings he came up with the idea to introduce a club attribute to which several Boards had to add something. The idea of   The Chain was soon born. At the end of the year, each Board could then add an item to The Chain which was typical of their board year.

Het hangslot en de beker(17e): Niels van Beurden

Because there was already fanatical stealing at that time, The Padlock was immediately hung on The Chain. In addition, De Golfbreker had no championship for several years, but in that year, we were finally the best again. At the end of the year, “Kampioen 2010-2011” was engraved in The Padlock and a small championship cup was hung as an attribute on The Chain.

De sleutelhanger(18e): Lisanne Achterberg

The special thing about this story is that there is no story. Richard was always the question, Mauz a pauper, Joukie the mama, Lisanne a chaos and Winnie liked to eat a cheese sandwich. This whole is, if you look very closely, immortalized in The Keychain. The soul of the 2011-2012 championship Board has always haunted and naturally supported the Boards thereafter and will continue to do so forever.

Het fietswiel(19e): Carmen Jorritsma

The 2012-2013 Board members had, in addition to their love for swimming, another sport they liked to practice: cycling. They were therefore also known as the cycling Board and added The Bicycle Wheel to The Chain.

Het fust(20e): Lisa van Casteren

Board 2013-2014 has added The Keg to The Chain. These pub tigers were not averse to a beer and managed to get rid of a lot of kegs of this liquid gold during their Board year. A keg could therefore of course not be missing from The Chain.

De buste(21e): Ruben Post

Fortunately, after the heavy loss of the championship, we were allowed to receive the integration cup. With cupid by their side, and some of his arrows up their ass, the 2014-2015 Board was inspired to pay tribute to this handsome angel. De Golfbreker, in addition to the five clever minds of the Board members, needed an extra helping hand! This heavily and heavily earned bust has been firing its famous arrows for us from The Chain ever since!

De kidshond(22e): Sander ter Beek

With an average age younger than the association (about twenty years), the 2015-2016 Board was proudly one of the youngest Boards. ‘Apenkooien’, “never grow up”themed Schier and an afternoon of games showed that they liked to linger in their childhood. To keep the whole association remembered of them, the children, they have hung a toy dog/ car on The Chain. Of course, this one is nicely pimped in the colors of De Golfbreker, so that we never forget our childhood.

De Gouden Deur(23e): Charel Wagenvoort

The 2016-2017 season was the season in which De Golfbreker mentality of “second place is also fine” was transformed into a mentality that fights for first place. The golden Board has peeked through the holes in The Golden Door and seen a future full of fame, happiness and love. They then did everything they could to realize this mentality. They succeeded and with that they opened the door to the golden future. The holes also serve as beer holders, because a golden future is also coloured gold by the beer that flows freely.

De kettlebell(24e): Minne Koopmans

The 24th Board, despite the bottles of wine and the bags of chips that went through every meeting, also often ran and stood together in the gym. As a result, they have been renamed the fit Board. This Kettlebell is a representation of this and also serves as a good exercise for any stealers.

Het fotolijstje(25e): Laura Hagreis

The 25th Board consisted of all ages. The grandfather was Chairman, the mother was Secretary, the rebellious teenagers were Treasurer and ICC and there was a baby as Swimming Commissioner. As a reminder, a beautiful family photo was added to The Chain. The Photo Frame also contained a nice message for the first person to break its glass, which immediately happened at the same GMA. This person had to take the entire family out for dinner.

De Vlag 19/20(26e): Astrid Hogendijk

The 2019-2020 Board consisted of four new members and therefore called themselves the new Board. They hoped to be able to renew the association with fresh ideas and dropped their eyes on the logo. This one was years old and could have been made a bit more modern. The new logo didn’t pass the S-GMA, but it does show off in the form of a new flag at The Chain.

Het wijnkistje(27e): Mattheus Timmerman

To ensure that their club attribute would mean something useful and fun for the association, the 20202021 Board thought it was time to give The Chain a creative twist. How nice would it be to have a drink with the next generation of Board members in the future? The Wine Box may be opened by the 37th Board in 20302031 and serves as an invitation to enjoy a pleasant evening with the 27th Board.

De flipper(28e): Floor Gerritsma

In the 2021-2022 season of the Board, in addition to De Golfbreker activities, they also undertook many other activities together. A weekend in a holiday home on the coast of IJmuiden, cozy consti’s with trips throughout the Netherlands and in the end a week in France. Koen saw something lying in the sand. It had such a beautiful colour combination that his eyes were drawn to it, namely blue and  yellow! The Flipper is all about an unforgettable holiday and a Board year. In addition, the decoration of this attribute reminds them of all the gifts they have bought for the other Boards in the thrift store.

De Gouden leeuw(29e): Meike Numijer

Brought by the 20222023 Board, a unique specimen born in a unique year. A year with a golden edge. A year as champion. A year as smoke-free with a green tinge. A Board with a goal and a goal achieved. A lion full of pride and courage!

Het Rad (30e): Yvanka Visser

The Wheel of the 30th was introduced by the 30th Board of G.S.Z.V. De Golfbreker in season 2023-2024. This spinning wheel played a crucial role during all Board meetings. Whether it was about the order of the ‘jippies and dippies’, assigning punishments or simply making important (and especially less important) decisions: the wheel determined fate. The wheel of fortune or the wheel of unfortune? The colorful parts of the wheel were sometimes full of surprises and provided memorable moments. To pass along a piece of the 30th Board to future Boards, the Wheel of the 30th was donated to the association. During each GMA and S-GMA, the Current Board may spin the wheel and have their fate determined.

MVB (Most valued Banana) (31e): Ymke Hoekman
From the very beginning, the 2024-2025 Board was quickly nicknamed the Banana Board. What started as a joke grew into a tradition: banana choreographies, banana suits, Pisang Ambong, and even our very own banana Dropvodka. In addition, the 31st Board brought the MVP Award to life: the ultimate symbol of appreciation and motivation. And when you combine our greatest pride, the banana and the MVP, there’s only one thing that can be born: The official board attribute of the 31st Board of G.S.Z.V. De Golfbreker: the Most Valuable Banana.
